Background Container Action

This is a Photoshop action intended to create a non-destructive folder/layer which allows you to apply a tint color to your background. It also allows you to add other layers to modify the background including color adjustments, texture overlays, and masked shapes which exclude the subject by default.

  • Only works with Photoshop versions with Subject Masking feature

  • Generally is only as accurate as the Subject Masking feature can select. Other items in the image like furniture, or accessories may affect the performance.

  • Further refining of the mask it produces is advised.

  • Results vary depending on the resolution of the file you are working on, better results with higher resolutions.
